Dad fought Parkinson's for over 11 years and he took it in his stride. He went from living life to the full, playing and enjoying all sports and being super social to completely losing the ability to do the things he loved and ultimately his whole independence. It's a terrible and lonely illness and was very painful to watch Dad struggle with even the most simple things in life.
